Singer-songwriter Leon Majcen’s early years were spent fleeing war-torn Bosnia

The latest episode of Roots Music Rambler is live! Frank and Falls talk to singer-songwriter Leon Majcen. His new album (self-titled) is out now.

His start in life wasn’t nearly as simple. He is the son of Bosnian immigrants who fled that country during its war in the mid-1990s. They migrated to the Czech Republic where he was born, before coming to America. Leon talked about his family’s journey and its impact on his music.

Frank and Falls also pay tribute to their music teachers and share their normal Pickin’ the Grinnin’ recommendations for your listening pleasure.
